Prasat Top East (Khmer: ប្រាសាទតុប ខាងលើត) is the last construction in Angkor for which a precise foundation date (1295) is set in stone.  This inscription can be seen on the temple's left door jamb.  The temple was dedicated to a guru named Jayamangalartha and to his mother at the end of Jayavarman VIII's reign.

Prasat Top East is located some 250 metres south of the road leading to the Victory Gate of Angkor Thom.
