Refund policy

Sometimes, no matter how well I've packed it, somebody decides to put a forklift through it.  Sometimes, it turns out that you've been sent the wrong item.  I understand.  I’m happy to make things right.  Please help me to make it easier by following this refund policy.

RETURN FOR DAMAGE IN SHIPPING

All orders are handled and packaged to ensure their safe and sound arrival. 

If the package shows signs of damage, it is your right to inspect the art before signing for it.  Please do not refuse delivery.  Instead ensure that the driver notes that the piece was damaged.  Please keep all of the original packaging.  Submit at least 4-6 digital photographs of the box and any damage to the artwork by email to customerservice@lucasvarro.com as quickly as possible.  This will enable me to quickly replace your order or issue a refund.

A request for a refund or replacement due to damage during shipping will only be honoured if submitted within fourteen (14) days of delivery.

You must contact me in advance for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), using the returns contact information below, before returning any item.

Neither I, Lucas Varro, nor any affiliated carrier is responsible for damage incurred during hanging or during any secondary transportation after initial delivery.  For this reason, it is strongly recommended that each piece be carefully inspected upon receipt.

RETURN FOR A WRONG OR DEFECTIVE ITEM

If, upon opening your package, you find the contents damaged or defective, or you have been sent the wrong item, please keep all of the original packaging and notify me immediately using the returns contact information below.

Standard option return postal delivery charges for damaged, defective or incorrect orders will be refunded.

RETURN FOR AN ITEM YOU DO NOT WISH TO KEEP

All sales are final unless received damaged or the item has a significant defect.

If you decide that your purchase simply isn't right for you, you may return the item within fourteen (14) days of receipt.

I will work with you to find your preferred solution.  I will send you alternative prints, issue refunds, or give you store credit for goods returned (LESS SHIPPING) in the original packaging AND if received by me in sell-able condition.

Please return the item with care using the original packing when shipping.  Poorly re-packed items may result in a refused refund.

You, the customer, must pay all shipping costs and any customs and/or tax fees due at time of delivery.

Please be sure to include the following information:

  • your reason for requesting a replacement, return or refund;
  • your telephone number if you'd like to speak to me, I'll be happy to call you to discuss your requirements;
  • the order number;
  • the item title or description;
  • the original shipping addressee name;
  • photos of any damage or defect.

I will contact you to quickly find a satisfactory resolution, providing any further return instructions and a return address as required.

Also, please include a copy of your receipt in the return shipment.
