Kurma (Sanskrit: कूर्म; Kūrma, 'turtle', 'tortoise') is one of the avatars, or incarnations, of Vishnu, as a giant turtle.  Also known as 'KurmaRaja' ('Tortoise King').

Kurma appears supporting Mount Mandara in the Churning of the Ocean of Milk.

Also synonymous with Akupara, the world-turtle supporting the Earth.
