Yet still he stands among the dead.
The naga’s weight once strained his frame,
His hands held tight through storm and flame.
No plea for praise, no cry for fame –
Just duty carved without a name.
The jungle creeps, the roots entwine,
But he remains a part divine.
Not evil, though his label lies,
A shadow cast 'neath Angkor’s skies.
O brother of the mythic fight,
You hold the dusk, you hold the light.
