Bejewelled Apsara

In silent stone she greets the light,

A goddess born from shadowed flight,

Her fingers curve in sacred pose,

Where jasmine dreams in stillness rose.

Eyes half-closed in endless grace,

She waits through time’s unyielding pace—

A prayer caught in a breathless gaze,

A song unsung through thousand days.

The jungle weeps in emerald hush,

Yet still she stands—no time can crush

The peace that lingers in her face,

A relic of a vanished place.

Carved in the pulse of holy stone,

She dances though she stands alone—

Not bound by earth, nor wind, nor flame,

But by the whisper of the name.

O spirit draped in jeweled guise,

Still holding stars within your eyes—

Teach us the quiet of your art,

And how to kneel with open heart.
