Stone in Motion

She dances still, though stone her frame,

A flicker held in sacred flame—

Her limbs are grace, her gaze is song,

Where time forgot, she lingers long.

The jungle breathes where silence grew,

Its roots embrace her sandstone hue.

One hand aloft, one foot in flight,

She turns the dusk into soft light.

O apsara, with smile so slight,

You move within the edge of night.

Not bound by form, nor stilled by age,

But flowing through each weathered page.

You dance for gods, for dreams, for air—

For those who pause and find you there.

In you, the temple learns to breathe,

And grief remembers how to leave.
