Golden Goddess
In sanctum's hush where shadows fall,
She stands against the ancient wall –
Apsara born of stone and flame,
Yet touched by time, still bears her name.
Her gaze, half-lost in twilight’s glow,
Knows secrets only temples know.
From hands of faith her face is worn,
By fingers smooth as prayers, adorned.
The chisel’s breath, the sculptor’s sigh,
Still echo through a thousand skies.
She dances not, yet worlds have turned
Since first her silent grace was learned.
Her smile, a song of sandstone fire,
Kindles the air with soft desire.
Not merely carved, but loved awake,
By every soul who dared to ache.
The incense swirls, the echoes call –
She watches gently over all.
Eternal in her golden guise,
A goddess with caressing eyes.
O touchstone heart, O spirit flame,
Whose lips recall no mortal name –
Yet still we come, and still we yearn
To feel her blessing in return.
