The Royal Terraces dominate the parade grounds in the centre of Angkor Thom, north of the Bayon Temple, facing the Suor Proat Temple towers.
Formed by the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Terraces have a length of about 400m (1,300') along their north-south axis.
