Amid the time-worn stones and jungle hush, new sanctuaries rise—painted in gold, robed in saffron, alive with incense and the quiet rhythm of daily devotion. Though young in age, these contemporary pagodas pulse with the same spirit that shaped Angkor: reverence, resilience, and radiant, living faith.

This collection is a contemplative encounter with Cambodia’s present-day sacred. Captured on both black-and-white and color film, the images seek not contrast, but continuity—revealing the grace, symbolism, and soulful atmosphere of modern temples rooted in timeless tradition.

Here, light drapes across a gilded stupa. A monk passes beneath a mural of samsara. A prayer bell swings in the same wind that brushes ancient lintels. The sacred, still unfolding.
